We get shaved once a year. It’s called sheep shearing. The person who shears us uses a large electric razor. We like a clean, close, and generally smooth shave. It makes us feel light as a feather. And, we like to look at the pile of wool on the ground around us.
Once a year in Ketchum, Idaho people gather to celebrate their cultural heritage as sheepherders. Singers, fiddlers, dancers, and storytellers take a “stage” around town and entertain at the festival. OH we love a woolly good party!
We give our friend our complete attention when the dog looks at us directly in the eye. You know that look. Your mom or dad will look you right in the eye when they want your attention. Your parents don’t have to say a single word. They just look you in THE EYE!
